• Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill – the original self help book
• The Secrets of Happy Families: Improve Your Mornings, Rethink Family Dinner, Fight Smarter, Go Out and Play, and Much More by Bruce Feiler - some very good tips on creating harmonious families but also a bunch of pedestrian ones.  Can speed read most of the book.
